Happy Holidays fam! Still in awe that it's December; fall went by in a blink! We are super excited to share our mid century modern inspired Christmas home tour with you! Also, be sure to check out the links I am sharing below this post. They're links to a bunch of other super talented, amazing CANADIAN bloggers! Yes, all CANADIAN, all different styles, all linked at the bottom of this post so be sure to pop over to their blogs for a visit too!

As you guys know  we are over on the west coast of Canada for the year trying all sorts of different styles in our apartment. This year, not only did we go for gold colour in our furniture, but we did it in our holiday decor too! Our last few Christmas' have been filled with simple, Scandinavian goodness, but I have always wanted to try something a little more on the mid century modern side with a non traditional tree, so that's what we did!

Our apartment complex doesn't allow real christmas trees, and we really didn't want to invest in yet another artificial tree (we have two back home). We had plans to cut one out of wood but we ran out of time and resources so we DIYed a giant version of our 3D trees with cardboard. We will post a tutorial later on about how we did it. We are also super excited about the ease of switching the sectional from the left to the right. We put the chaise portion of the couch on the other side to allow some room for the tree and balance out the layout.
