The questions we get asked the most
What Camera Should I buy?
This is the hardest question! We only research the cameras we buy, so when we get a question like “best camera for under $600” it’s hard for us to recommend something as we haven’t done research on cameras in that price range. There are a number of factors that play into what camera you buy, it depends on skill level, budget, and what you need out of a camera. While we can’t give you an exact answer, we have put together a video and blog post to help you figure out what camera is right for you with some resources from people who have already done the research for you!
What Lens is Best for…?
There is no one lens that is made for shooting one subject, however we’re launched a new series called “The Focal Length Challenge”. Hopefully this series can help offer some insight into what lens is best for you!
Where did you get those grey boots you wear all the time?
My grey booties you see in our videos and on instagram are the greatest slippers ever. They are called Gleurps, and they did NOT pay me to talk about them.
Can I hire you To Do Graphic Design?
Currently I am not taking any clients for freelance work while I focus on doing YouTube full time.
What about Interior design? Can you help me with my space?
We do not offer interior design consulting or help with room design or renovation projects at the moment. We document our process on our channel and try to provide tips for you along the way!
How Do I get into flying Helicopters?
The answer to this one could take up this entire page, we’re working on a few videos to outline all of this! Stay tuned for that. But if you are curious about costs, you can check out this video.
Where can I buy your Presets?
You can’t! We have decided not to sell our presets at this time. We have spent many years crafting our look and many hours learning how to process and color grade our images (more on that here). If you want our look, we have tutorials on our YouTube on how to achieve it! We do, however, have S-log Utility LUTs available in our shop which you can find here.
Are you going to have merch?
YES! In 2021 we launched the first two items in our home accessory line in collaboration with Exlsv. We currently have available our coffee table matchbox, and our walnut wall hooks (2 pack). We will slowly be adding to this collection, if you want to be the first to know about our drops you can follow us on Instagram or sign up for our newsletter! We also have a variety of utility LUTS and templates available in our shop.
