We’re back with another holiday round up of our 10 favourite things, dope gift ideas for your loved ones (or yourself, always nice to treat yourself). Everything on our list this year is less than $100!
I have included a number of links in this post due to the variety of locations you guys are in, but you might be able to find these items locally! Let’s do our best to support local businesses!
Sweater Comb
Ok you might be thinking “worst. gift. ever” but this is a PRACTICAL gift, and we love a practical gift. Do you wear clothes? YES! Does the person you are gifting to wear clothes? I hope so! A sweater comb is so handy and keeps your clothes looking fresh and new. It takes off any old knobby bits that end up on old sweaters, extending their life.

If a sweater comb isn’t the gift for you then why not a felt desk pad from Grovemade? They make THE MOST BEAUTIFUL desk accessories. Honestly anything from their shop would make a good gift.

A Plant
A plant makes a great host/hostess gift especially when you have to bring something but aren’t too sure what the receiver likes. We love a Pothos because they are trailing and easy to take care of. ZZ plants are also beauties and hard to kill. This is the type of gift you will definitely want to pick up from your local plant shop. If you are here in Buffalo may I recommend Daddy’s Plants.

Coffee Table Matchbox
Ok shameless plug, these are OUR matchboxes from our new home accessory line! They make a super fun gift for the home decor or candle lover in your life! LEVITATING MATCH TRAY! Also the lid snaps closed and it’s super satisfying.
Yeti Coffee Mug
We had the reusable water bottle on the list last year, this year we’re including a reusable coffee mug. We LOVE these for camping, making oatmeal outside, or keeping our beverages warm on a cold day. I’ve tried a few brands of these and the Yeti ones are worth the spend in my opinion.
Walnut Wall Hooks
Another one of ours I just had to include on the list because I LOVE THEM! Solid black walnut hooks, hand rubbed with oil for a natural finish. These are a great addition to any room that needs a little extra organization especially when space is tight. I’m about to hang a ton of these in our studio, stay tuned for the tour in 2022!
Hive Notebook
Stone paper, grid pages, vegan leather, WATERPROOF TEAR RESISTANT PAGES! I’m not yelling, I’m just emphasizing. Such a great companion for anyone out in the field or someone who travels with a notebook! Just cracked one of these open for 2022 and i’m obsessed!
Cuts T-shirt or Hoodie
Cuts has been a supporter of this blog, our podcast, and YouTube channel for the last few months and we honestly LOVE their stuff (we don’t promote products we don’t use or believe in). Classic hoodie + sunday sweatpants are the perfect holiday combo. I’ve been living in mine since getting it… I should probably give that a wash.
Civivi Baby Banter Knife
Who doesn’t love matte black? I am obsessed with this knife, so much so that I have to get another because I bought it for our helicopter first aid kit and just ended up keeping it for me.
REI Camp Wrap
When I saw this I was skeptical at first, but then I broke down and got it and it’s SO FUN for sitting outside on a cool morning, wrapping up in the poncho, and sipping from the Yeti. Great way to extent the seasons on either end!
